A shocking video has emerged online showing a student hurling abuse and threatening his teachers for confiscating his mobile phone. According to reports, the incident took place on Friday at Anakkara Government Higher Secondary School, Palakkad.
According to Kerala Kaumudi, the school administration had issued strict instructions to students prohibiting the use of phones on school campus. However, this Class 11 student defied the instructions and continued using his phone inside the class.
After one of the teachers caught him using the phone, the device was seized and handed over to the principal. Fuming at the teacher’s move, the student stormed into the principal’s room and demanded his phone be handed over to him.
The teacher did not budge from their position and refused to return his phone. At this, the student screamed at the teacher and threatened to kill them.
According to The South First, the teachers and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) have filed a complaint with the Thrithala police.
“We received the complaint, and higher officials are attending to it. We will ensure that necessary actions are taken,” The South First quoted a police official as saying.
