Arvind Kejriwal: Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has feared disturbances in machines two days before the voting. He said that 10 percent of the votes could be rigged. Along with this, he also talked about taking precautionary measures. Apart from this, Kejriwal said that our party has created a website on which booth data will be uploaded and an attempt will be made to stop any kind of disturbance.
Questions asked on EVMs
On the last day of the election campaign, Arvind Kejriwal told about his apprehensions about EVMs and preparations made to deal with EVMs. Kejriwal claimed, ‘Sources have told me that 10 percent of the votes could be disturbed. Wherever I go, people say the same thing to me: “We vote for you, but we do not know where this vote goes.” You take care of the machine. There is a big disturbance in the machine.
Aam Aadmi Party created a website
Arvind Kejriwal told his supporters to vote so much for the magic that he wins despite 10 percent disturbances. Every broom person should go out to vote. If our lead is 15 percent then we will win by 5 percent. Give more than 10 percent gain everywhere. Vote enough so that we can win against these machines. As a precaution, the Aam Aadmi Party has also created a website, on which 6 types of data will be uploaded from polling stations on polling day. He said, “How many votes will be cast at which booth and how many batteries were in the EVM, all these things will be uploaded.”
AAP Chairman has been questioning the fairness of the Election Commission for the last few days. But, this is the first time that he has also expressed concern about EVMs. Many opposition parties, including the Congress, have been questioning EVMs for a long time. However, the Aam Aadmi Party has been avoiding doing so till now.
