Of crushing defeat in Delhi : Soon after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has intensified its political activities in Punjab. Amidst the speculation of the defection, there are reports that National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has called AAP MLAs from Punjab to Delhi. Recently, the Congress had claimed that a large number of AAP MLAs are ready to attend other parties. However, no AAP leader has officially said anything on this claim.
All the work of your MLAs has been canceled on Tuesday!
According to reports, Kejriwal has called Punjab MLAs and ministers for a meeting in Delhi. The meeting has been called on 11 February. It is learned that party MLAs have been asked to cancel all work on Tuesday and attend the meeting to be held at Kapurthala House. However, it is not yet clear what will be the agenda of the meeting.
The Punjab Cabinet meeting which was scheduled to be held on 6 February was first postponed by 10 February. But it was later postponed till 13 February. It is being said that after losing Delhi, the focus of the party leadership is now on Punjab. It is likely that Kejriwal may talk to MLAs about joining voters.
Claim to hold elections soon in Punjab
Congress MP from Gurdaspur Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has expressed the possibility of mid -term elections in Punjab. He said, ‘Punjab should be prepared for mid -term elections. The group of AAP MLAs will be dissolved in Punjab. At least 35 MLAs of his party are ready to change the frost. The results of Delhi will also highlight the corruption done by AAP in Punjab, which came to the fore this year as the minimum support price (MSP) scam in liquor scam and paddy procurement.
