Thane: Kedar Dighe, who is the nephew of the late Anand Dighe, expressed his displeasure and criticized the act of the Shiv Sena led by Shinde’s workers who took off the garland and shawls when the UBT’s leader paid tribute to Anand Dighe’s memorial in Thane on Sunday.

Kedar Dighe posted a video on his X account mentioning amd criticised that the garland and shawls have been thrown out by Shinde’s workers and that they should be ashamed for the same. Why did they continue to insult Dev Manoon (Dighe)?

Kedar Dighe, speaking with FPJ, stated that if they wanted to express their opposition, then they would take off the flowers, garland, and saffron shawls from the memorial and set them aside. They should not take them off and throw them on the road.

He further stated that on behalf of the UBT party, they held a internal workers’ meeting in the NKT College hall in Thane. UBT’s leaders Sanjay Raut, Vinayak Raut, Arvind Sawant, Ambadas Danave, Sunil Prabhu, Chandrakant Khaire, and Anand Gite came to pay tribute to the Anand Dighe memorial in Tembhi Naka, and after that, they went to the NKT hall for an internal worker meeting.

Shivsena led by deputy Eknath Shinde’s worker and Shivsena UBT led by Uddhav Thackeray’s worker were sloganeering and heated argument exchange between them at Anand Asharam located in Tembhi Naka in Thane on Sunday evening.

Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) organized a internal workers meeting in Thane on Sunday. This time, Sanjay Raut and other leaders of UBT arrived at Anand Asharam to pay their respects to Dighe by offering garlands and shawls.

The Shinde faction’s workers confronted each other and started sloganeering. Following this, the matter intensified when Sanjay Raut and other leaders reached Dighe’s memorial where the sloganeering was initiated by a worker of the Shinde Sena.

The sources said that leaders and workers from Shivsena led Shinde, condemned the event, and took off the garland, flowers, and shawls, and later performed a Dudh Abhisheka (milk offering) at the memorial.
