A plane going from Azerbaijan to Russia has crashed in Kazakhstan. There were about 70 people on board the flight. The plane was heading from Baku in Azerbaijan to Grozny, the capital of Chechnya in Russia. The aircraft was damaged after hitting a flock of birds. The accident occurred while attempting an emergency landing on the runway.

 

Why did the plane crash?

The plane that crashed belonged to Azerbaijan Airlines. Kazakhstan’s transport ministry said the crashed plane was carrying 62 passengers and five crew members. Kazakhstan’s Health Minister said that six people survived the accident. Azerbaijan quoted the airline as saying that the cause of the accident was a collision between the aircraft and a flock of birds.

 

 

A video of the accident has surfaced on social media, in which a plane is seen surrounded by flames as it falls to the ground. However, Azerbaijan Airlines has not commented on the accident.

 

 

 

An accident in Brazil also

Recently 10 people died in a plane crash in Brazil. The 10 people who died were passengers and crew members on board the plane. Brazil’s civil protection agency said more than a dozen people on the ground were injured in the incident.

The plane hit the chimney of a house and then hit the second floor of a building before hitting a mobile phone shop in a large residential area, the agency said in a post on Twitter. More than a dozen people present on the ground were injured. They were taken to hospitals. It is not clear what caused the accident.
