Six people died in a fire in a house in Kathua, Jammu on Wednesday morning. According to the information, 9 people were sleeping in the house, out of which 6 people died due to suffocation, while 3 people became unconscious. The incident took place in Shivnagar of Kathua.

Ganga Bhagat (17 years), Danish Bhagat (15 years), Avtar Krishna (81 years), Barkha Raina (25 years), Taksh Raina (3 years), Advik Raina (4 years) died in the fire. Police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot after receiving information about the fire. At present, fire brigade vehicles are busy extinguishing the fire.
