While we have been waiting for the announcement of Ekta Kapoor’s TV show Naagin 7, Kartik Aaryan has announced his movie Naagzilla in which the actor will be seen as an icchadhari naag. Yes, you read it right! Kartik will be seen as a 631-year-old ichhadhari naag in the movie which is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba who has earlier helmed Fukrey movies.
Kartik took to social media to announce the movie. He wrote, “Insanon wali picharein toh bahut dekh li, ab dekho naagon wali pichchar! #Naagzilla – Naag lok ka pehla kaand… Funnn phailaane aa raha hai – Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand… Naag Panchami par aapke nazdeeki Sssssinemas mein – 14 August 2026 ko!”

Well, Kartik Aaryan fans are super happy with the announcement. A fan tweeted, “That’s the reason why everyone call you the most versatile actor in today’s generation (sic).” Another fan posted, “From desi drama to epic kaand! Kartik Aaryan’s Naagzilla is the blockbuster bomb we’re all hyped for! (sic).”
One more fan wrote, “Kartik never disappoints his audience Always comes up with smthin new interesting fun film (sic).”
Naagzilla vs Bhediya 2
Naagzilla is a creature comedy, and reportedly, it will have multiple parts. The movie will release on August 14, 2026. It will be clashing with Bhediya 2 which is slated to release on the same day.
Well, Maddock Films has just announced the release date of Varun Dhawan starrer, but there’s no update on the film. So, we wonder if this clash will be averted or it will be Naag vs Bhediya at the box office.
