Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is currently in Gangtok, Sikkim, filming his highly anticipated project directed by Anurag Basu. A few days ago, several pictures and videos from the shoot surfaced on social media. In the visuals, Kartik is seen receiving a warm welcome from hundreds of fans who gathered around his car, eager to click pictures with him.
At one point, Kartik was mobbed by fans before he could get into his car. In the now-viral videos, several security officials can be seen escorting him to his vehicle.
Despite the chaos, Kartik, dressed in a green jacket, remained calm and patiently waited for a few minutes. He also graciously obliging fans with selfies. Some of his female fans are also heard screaming “I love you” after spotting him.

The film’s makers also organised an event in Gangtok, where Kartik and lead actress Sreeleela interacted with the locals. In one of the videos, Kartik is seen on stage, while fans watch him in awe.

The yet-untitled film marks the Bollywood debut of south sensation Sreeleela. Just a few days back, several photos from another sets of the film had gone viral.
In the photos, Kartik was seen sporting a rugged look with overgrown hair and beard, which has been the talk of the town of late. In one of the photos, he was seen riding a motorcycle with Sreeleela behind him, and in another picture, the actor can be spotted with a wound on his hand.
Photos also showed the actors being welcomed at a hotel and them enjoying tea with the others on sets.
While the title of the film is yet to be announced, reports have it that the film is a romantic musical.
Earlier, Triptii Dimri was supposed to star opposite Kartik in the film, however, she was replaced by Sreeleela due to reasons unknown. The film is slated to release on Diwali this year. It is set to clash with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Thama.
