Mumbai: Kartik Aryan recently came into limelight by signing Karan Johar’s banner ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’. However, he will not start shooting for this film yet. First of all he will start shooting for the film directed by Anurag Basu and based on a love story.
Basu’s film has reached its peak. However, the title of the film has not been decided yet. Sharvari Wagh has been cast as the heroine opposite Karthik in the film. Earlier, Trupti Dimri was to play the heroine’s role but at the last moment Trupti was replaced by Sharvari.
This film is going to be released next year. Earlier there were speculations that this film could be ‘Aashiqui 3’. However, later Mukesh Bhatt, the original producer of the ‘Aashiqui’ franchise, raised objections and it was announced that the film was not ‘Aashiqui 3’ but a different love story.
‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’ is also going to be released next year. However, Karthik has not decided his shooting schedule yet.
Karthik had left Karan Johar’s banner ‘Dostana 2’ project midway. After this their relationship turned sour. But, now both have extended the hand of friendship again.
