Karnataka Class 10 Results 2025: In a poignant display of blind encouragement, a Bagalkot, Karnataka, family decided to mark their son’s failure in the Class 10 board exams by cutting a cake and boosting his morale. Seventeen-year-old Abhishek Cholachagudda, a student of Basaveshwar English Medium School, obtained 200 out of 625 marks—about 32%—and failed all six subjects in the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exams.
Rather than showing disappointment, Abhishek’s father, Yallappa Cholachagudda, who is a freelance photographer, had arranged a small party at home. Abhishek’s mother, sister, and grandmother joined the family as they got together to cut a cake with his score on it, to motivate him and give him the necessary encouragement to try harder.
