Television actor Karan Kundrra is all set to make his grand comeback on Laughter Chefs Season 2, leaving Kashmera Shah, Bharti Singh, and Ankita Lokhande in tears, overwhelmed by emotions. While there were reports that Kundrra would make a cameo until Abdu Rozik’s return, it has now been confirmed that he is “back for good,” replacing Abdu, who is currently away due to Ramadan.
Karan has now shut down those speculations, stating, “I am not here for a cameo that is for sure. Because the way the show is going humko aisa thodi bataya hai ke show khatam ho jayega. No no, I am back for good. I am sure. Because all my travel is done, my dates are aligned. It was never a choice of yes or no, it was just a choice of when.”
Kundrra further shared that it never felt like he was away from Laughter Chefs; instead, it always seemed as if he had filmed the show just last week. “It was such a seamless transition for me. I was telling Krishna bhai ke yaar aiSa hi lagraha hai ke abhi last week hi toh hum kar rahe thhe shoot because you know all the previous faces are there and even the new faces, I know all of them, toh aisa lag hi nahi raha hai ke bahut time ke baad aaya hoon,” he added.
Karan shared that being a part of Laughter Chefs Season 2 was never a yes-or-no situation; it was always about figuring out when the dates would align, as Laughter Chefs is a weekly shoot. He added, “I have just come back from Iceland and I knew ke yahi sahi time hoga and it all just came together.”
