The police team of Sajeti police station, revealing the pan masala robbery case worth lakhs that took place recently, arrested four robbers on Saturday. 39 sacks of pan masala, 5 mobile phones, Rs 50,000 in cash, a car and a pickup have been recovered from the possession of the robbers.

Deputy Commissioner of Police South Zone Ankita Sharma said that among the arrested robbers, Aryan Gupta, son of Shivram Gupta, resident of Srinagar Paharpur village of Sen West Para police station area of ​​Kanpur city, his neighbor Jaisingh, son of Surajpal, Shailendra Singh, son of late Narendra, resident of Majhwati village of the same police station area. Kumar is Rajiv Garg alias Kanhaiya, son of Lalta Prasad, resident of Gujaini of Govind Nagar police station area.

During interrogation, it was revealed that one of the robbers, Shailendra Singh, previously worked in SN’s Pan Masala Company, but is not working at present. He was completely knowledgeable about the working system of the company. Under a plan, the entire team was prepared and after hiring a loader and a WagonR car, he identified a deserted place to go to Baripal and stood with his team on the day of the incident and after committing the crime, fled from there along with his associates. After committing the crime, the entire goods including the loader were hidden somewhere.

It is noteworthy that on November 9, near Baripal village in Sajeti police station area, the miscreants escaped after looting lakhs of pan masala from a private pan masala company. A case was registered in this regard and six police teams were deployed to uncover the matter. To uncover the incident, the police teams searched more than a hundred CCTV cameras installed around the incident and the police team got clues. Police teams were searching for the suspects on Saturday. Meanwhile, when information was received from the informer, success was achieved in recovering the entire goods including the loader from near Sawaipur intersection. Taking legal action against all four, they are sending them to jail.
