Actress-turned-politician hailed the Indian Army on Wednesday for the successful Operation Sindoor — an operation carried out to obliterate terrorist camps in Pakistan. While at it, she stated that people are nervous since the country is at war now, but we must trust and pray for our jawans.

While interacting with the media in Delhi, Kangana said, “The country is at war right now, so obviously, we are all very nervous. But our security forces are protecting us, and we all must pray that may God protect them and help them succeed in their missions. We should all pray that the country be safe from all kinds of dangers.”

“Humein khatra nahi hai, hum khud khatra hai,” she added.

Explaining the meaning behind the name of the mission, the BJP MP shared, “PM Modi has named this mission ‘Operation Sindoor’, because the husbands of our mothers and daughters were killed right in front of their eyes and they were widowed by the terrorists. Those deaths are now being avenged now.”

Earlier in the day, Kangana had saluted the Indian armed forces for targetting and attacking terror camps in Pakistan with precision. “Operation Sindoor: Zero tolerance to terror. The Indian Armed Forces launched a precision mission, Operation Sindoor; 9 terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir neutralized (sic),” she wrote on X.

What is Operation Sindoor?

The Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor in the wee hours of Wednesday, wherein they targetted and struck nine terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). This came as a befitting retaliation to the horrifying terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, that killed 26 people.

“We are living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable,” the official statement by the Government of India read.
