Thane: Residents of Kalwa, Mumbra, and Diva will face a complete water supply shutdown for 24 hours on Monday night due to urgent repairs at MIDC’s Jambhul Water Purification Center, said TMC officials.
According to the civic officials, the water supply will disputed due to urgent repair in Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Purification cenetre from Monday night (March 17) to Tuesday night ( March 18). Morever water supply will be shut down between Katai and Thane for 24 hours.
The civic officials said that the water supply will start on Tuesday night onwards. The pressure will be low for the next few days.
Thane Municipal Corporation’s officials urged the residents to store adequate water in advance and use it judiciously during the shutdown period. The water supply is expected to resume on Tuesday night onwards.
