Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025: The Ministry of External Affairs has formally announced the ‘Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025’ on Saturday. The journey will be held from June to August 2025. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is known for its religious significance and cultural significance. Being the abode of Lord Shiva, this place is important for Hindus, as well as it has religious significance for Jains and Buddhist religions. From the year 2015, the process ranging from online application to the selection of pilgrims has been completely computerized.
The yatra will be organized through the routes of the states of Uttarakhand and Sikkim.
This year, 5 batch (50 pilgrims in each) will travel from the state of Uttarakhand via Lipulekh Marg and 10 batch (50 pilgrims in each) will travel from Sikkim state to Nathu La route. The pilgrims will be selected through a fair process by the Ministry of External Affairs and they will be allotted separate routes and batches. There will usually be no change in the routes and batches allotted to pilgrims through computerized process. However, if necessary, the selected pilgrims can request a change in the batch. This change can be made only when the location is available. The decision of the Ministry in this matter will be final.
Amarnath Yatra will start from July 3
