A 17-year-old juvenile offender escaped from police custody during a medical examination at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGM) on Thursday. He was detained by Mira Road police in the vicinity of Mira Road Station on Friday evening. The juvenile had been apprehended for allegedly stealing two mobile phones from a house in Mira Road.
