This unexpected fusion added a layer of cultural depth as it featured traditional instruments like the harmonium and tabla, along with Sufi-style vocals.

Videos of the qawwali rendition has been shared widely on social media platforms. While some praised the recreated version, others trolled the qawwali group.

Reacting to the video, a user commented, “Waah, vibe toh hai.” Another wrote, “Waiting for Beiber singing Naseebo in Toronto concert.”

Some users also demanded justice for Justin Bieber.

According to a report in The Express Tribune, those present during the performance at the university lauded the song. “This was an amazing experience. It shows how music can transcend borders and bring different cultures together,” a student reportedly said.
