Food Agriculture Jomato has launched its new Quick Food Delivery Service “Jomato Quick”, under which customers will now be able to eat at their door in just 15 minutes. The service is available in many cities of the country and is currently being delivered to fast food and instant food, including snacks, desserts and beverages.
Description of service
Responding to business standard questions, Jomato spokesperson said that food delivery is being done under this recently launched quick feature. It offers menu items and delivery fleet to listed restaurants. The company has also clarified that instant food delivery service is currently available at select locations, and plans to increase it in more fields over time.
Jomato steps
This step is taken by Jomato at a time when its competitive company Blinkit has launched a service called “Blinkits Bistro”, under which customers are delivered to customers in 10 minutes. Jomato already has “Jomato Everyday” service, which provides quick food to customers. The service was launched in 2023. However, the first attempt of service called “Jomato Instant” was not successful in food delivery in 10 minutes and was shut down in less than a year.
Swigy competition
Like Jomato, Swiggi launched its 10 -minute Food delivery service “Swiggy Bolt” in October 2024. According to the company, 5 percent of its total food distribution order is being completed through this service. However, many restaurants and National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) are criticizing companies such as Swiggi and Jomato to do this rapid delivery.
