Bollywood actor John Abraham is currently busy promoting his upcoming film ‘The Diplomat’, which is going to be released on 7 March 2024. Recently he expressed his opinion on the content of changing trends and films in the film industry.

John believes that the industry is no longer secular as before and films are now being made very thoughtfully. He described ‘The Kashmir Files’ as an influential film and also praised Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’.

Speaking to Hollywood Reporter India, John Abraham said:

“I don’t think we are as secular as they used to be before. It is important to be secular here and to have that feeling. Now we are doing things very carefully. “

He raised the question whether we are now making ‘propaganda films’ or just preparing impressive cinema? On this he said:

“If someone says that ‘The Kashmir Files’ or other such films are propaganda films, then I see it as a normal viewer. These films are impressive for me. “

John Abraham believes that good stories hits the audience and that is why they succeed.

He said:

“I will not judge whether a film is propaganda or not. I am just an audience who enjoys cinema. The question is whether the film is hitting me in the right place? Did it affect me? If yes, its credit goes to the director. “

John’s gesture was that the success of any film depends on his story and effectiveness, not on what purpose it has been made.

Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’ praises, said- “I am happy for him”

John Abraham also praised the recently released Vicky Kaushal starrer film Chhava.

He told that he messaged Vicky and appreciated his work. John said:

“I am happy for Vicky. His film is doing well and bringing people to theaters, which is a very good thing. “

Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’ is a film based on the life of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, which is getting tremendous response from the audience.
