The FMCG sector is continuously growing. According to a recently released report, the business in this sector will double by 2025-26, due to which freshers will get jobs in this sector. This year, compared to last year, there has been an increase of 5 percent in jobs in the FMCG sector.

FMCG i.e. Fast Processing Industry is continuously gaining momentum. With the boom in this sector, new people are also getting jobs. According to a report by TeamLease EdTech, the business in the FMCG sector will double by 2025-26, after which job opportunities will open up for freshers in this sector. However, more youth still got jobs in the first six months of this year compared to last year. The figure which was 27 percent in 2024, has increased to 32 percent in the first half of this year.

According to the report, the food processing sector is continuously growing. In the year 2019, the turnover of this industry is 263 billion dollars i.e. about 2.5 crore rupees. 22,23,511 crore, which is estimated to reach $535 billion by 2025-26 with an annual growth of 12.6 percent. The growth is faster in rural and semi-urban markets. It is believed that in the coming time, freshers will get jobs in this sector.
