Jind, September 4 (HS). CIA staff led by Inspector M.sh Kumar has succeeded in arresting three members of a motorcycle thief gang. Police have recovered 21 stolen bikes from the three accused.
Giving information on Wednesday, Deputy Superintendent of Police Jogendra Singh said that on August 25, Bittu, a resident of village Manoharpur, had told the police in a complaint that he had parked his bike on the road near his farm. When he returned after finishing his work, his bike was missing. Even after searching around, no trace of his bike was found. On which the police had registered a case of theft against unknown persons on Bittu’s complaint. In view of the incidents of motorcycle theft, SP Sumit Kumar had ordered the CIA staff to arrest the accused as soon as possible. Acting on the orders, the police arrested the accused Ajay, Ajay, Gaurav, residents of village Dahaula along with the stolen motorcycle from the track of Jind-Kandela Road Rajbaha.
During police interrogation, 21 stolen motorcycles were also recovered from the accused. Police is questioning the accused about other incidents of vehicle theft. One motorcycle was recovered from the spot, five bikes from Ajay’s house, nine motorcycles from a closed brick kiln near Kithana Road from village Thua and one motorcycle from Gaurav’s house from the three accused. The arrested accused were produced in the court, from where the court sent all three to jail in judicial custody.
