Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Thieves broke into the house of a businessman who was out of the city and decamped with jewellery worth about Rs 40 lakh and cash. The businessman who had gone to Mandu was informed by his security guard that the lock of his house was broken.
When he returned, he found the house ransacked and jewellery missing. According to the police, Sandeep Solanki, a resident of Sri Nagar, lodged a complaint with MIG police that some unidentified person/persons fled with cash and jewellery after breaking into his house. The thieves even stole the DVR of the CCTV camera to evade arrest.
Solanki’s house was burgled in 2020 too. In another incident, thieves stole cash and jewellery from a house in the Lasudia area. According to the police, Arun Kumar, a resident of Pink City, Niranjanpur, lodged a complaint that some unidentified person/persons fled with cash and jewellery after breaking into his house on Saturday. Similarly, thieves also targeted a house in the Aerodrome area.
According to the police, Manoj Deshmukh, a resident of Nariman City, lodged a complaint that some unidentified person/persons fled with cash and jewellery worth Rs 50,000 after breaking into his house in the wee hours of Saturday. In all these incidents, the police registered a case against unidentified persons under relevant sections of the BNS and began a probe.
