Jeep India sells a total of 4 models in the Indian market, which all fall into the premium and luxury segment. However, the company’s sales are less than expected due to expensive prices and limited customer class.

The company’s second lowest sales were recorded in February 2025 in the last 6 months.
Jeep Grand Cherokee became the lowest selling car to get only 12 customers.
Not a single unit was sold from September 2024 to January 2025!

The company is offering a huge discount of up to ₹ 3 lakh on this to attract customers.
The option to buy SUV on EMI is also being given – EMI of ₹ 84,166 for 84 months!

Ex-showroom price: ₹ 67.50 lakh

Why the sale declines?

Expensive price: Initial price of ₹ 67.50 lakh limits it to limited customers.
No diesel option: Diesel SUV is more in demand in the Indian market, but it is only available in petrol.
Low Brand Popularity: Jeep is lagging behind brands like Fortuner and Land Rover in the Indian market.
Low marketing and promotion: Grand Cherokee promotion has been reduced compared to other premium SUVs.
