JEE Main 2025 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam on April 2, 2025 and will end on April 9, 2025. Candidates who are going to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE-Main) can check and download the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 admit card at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Following the updated datesheet for the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exams, the NTA will administer Paper 1 (BE/BTech) on April 2, 3, 4, and 7 in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 AM to 12 noon, while the second shift will be from 3 PM to 6 PM. Paper 1 (BE/BTech) will also be administered on April 8 in a single shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.

The admit cards for the April 2, 3, and 4 exams have already been issued. The admit cards for the April 7, 8, and 9 exams will be issued shortly. While downloading, the candidates should make sure that the QR code and barcode are properly visible on their admit card.

Exam Day Instructions:

– Candidates are required to reach the examination centre at least two hours prior to the commencement of the exam.

– Students should verify the dress code, exam day instructions, and important guidelines for JEE Main.

– All candidates are required to carry the same photo ID as uploaded in the online application form and indicated on the admit card for verification of identity.

– Candidates should read the instructions on the admit card carefully and adhere to them strictly during the examination.

– Candidates are required to occupy their seats as soon as the examination hall is open.

Items to Bring to the JEE Main Exam Centre:

– Admit Card print along with Self Declaration.

– One passport-size photograph (identical to the one uploaded on the Online Application Form).

– Any single government-issued ID document: School ID Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, E-Aadhaar with photo, Ration Card with photo, Class XII Board Admit Card with photo, or Bank Passbook with photo.

– PwD/PwBD certificate from the authorized medical officer (for PwD/PwBD category).

– A clear Ball Point Pen.

Exam Pattern:

The JEE Main 2025 test will have three subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

– Each of these subjects will be split into two sections: Section A and Section B with 75 questions and a total of 300 marks.

Section A:

Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).

Section B:

Numerical value-based questions.

– Each subject will have 25 questions: 20 MCQs in Section A and 5 numerical value-based questions in Section B.
