New Delhi. The wait for millions of students taking the JEE Main 2025 exam can now end soon. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE MAIN) 2025’s April session results can be declared this week this week. According to sources, the results are likely to be released by 17 April 2025.
As soon as the results are released, the candidates will be able to check and download their scorecard by visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in. Earlier, the answer key of the examination has been uploaded on the website, with the help of which candidates can check their possible marks in advance.
When was the exam done?
Jee Main 2025’s session 2 examination was conducted between April 2 to April 8, 2025. Earlier, session 1 was held from 22 to 29 January and its results were declared on 11 February.
Now everyone’s eyes are on the result of April session. Although NTA has not yet officially confirmed the exact date of the result, it is expected that the result may come up by the late April or early May.
List of toppers will also be released
This time NTA will release the list of toppers of both sessions along with the result of April session. This will be clear which student has performed the best across the country and who will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025.

- Click on the link ‘JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Result’ given on the homepage.
- Login with your application number and date of birth or password.
- Press the submit button and your result will come on the screen.
- If you want, you can also download and print it.
How to download Answer Key?
Students who want to know their potential score can check the answer of JEE Main 2025:
- Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link ‘Jee Main 2025 Answer Key’.
- Download the open PDF and match your answers.
- You can also remove its print.
Examination in CBT mode, this was the pattern
The JEE Main 2025 examination was held in a complete computer based test (CBT) mode.
- BE/B.Tech (Paper 1): The entire exam in CBT mode.
- B.Arch (Paper 2A): In maths CBT, while drawing test pen-paper mode.
- B.Planning (Paper 2B): The entire exam in CBT.
What is the importance of cutoff?
The cutoff of JEE Main 2025 will decide who will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025. It has two types of cutoffs:
- NTA qualifying cutoff
- Institute Wise Admission Cutoff released by Josaa
Admission to institutions like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIS will be based on these cutoffs.
