IIT Kanpur, the institute to organize JEE Advanced 2025, will conduct an entrance examination in two shifts on 18 May. The paper will be held from 1 am to 12 noon and paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

JEE Advance 2025: Important instructions for candidates
IIT Kanpur has explained the important instructions to be followed on the day of JEE Advanced Examination. Let’s take a look
- Candidates will also have to take a legitimate original photo identity card along with a hard copy of JEE Advanced 2025 Admit Card.
- Examiners will not be allowed to enter the examination center without a valid admit card
- Candidates will be verified by inspectors and IIT representatives at the examination center.
- If the examination is given in place of another person in the examination or inappropriate means have been used, then the candidature of the candidate will be canceled.
JEE Advanced 2025: What to take
- The original photo identity card with JEE Advanced Admit Card 2025 is required.
- Any person can bring any of the following – Aadhaar card, school/college/institute ID, driving license, voter ID card, passport, PAN card, notary
- It is advisable to take pen, pencil and drinking water only in a transparent bottle.
JEE Advanced 2025: List of Restricted goods
Candidates to candidates, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pages, health bands or any other electronic gadgets, any printed/empty/hand written paper, log table, writing pad, scale, eraser, geometry/pencil-pensil-box, phenomenon, calculator, penculator, penculat Wallets, handbags, cameras, goggles or anything similar should not be brought. Any other item that can be used improperly such as microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc., is not allowed.
JEE Advanced Dress Code
IIT Kanpur has told about the JEE Advanced Dress Code in the official information bulletin. Candidates should not wear amulets/talisman, metal things like ring, bracelet, earrings, nasal pin, chain/necklace, pendant, badges, brooch, large button clothes. Candidates are also advised to wear open shoes like slippers and sandals.
