A big news has come out from Motihari district of Bihar , 15 Muslim leaders from Janata Dal United (JDU) have collectively resigned. Actually, JDU’s difficulties have increased since supporting the Modi government on the Waqf Bill issue. Muslim leaders are disillusioned with JDU.

Resignation against Waqf Bill!

In fact, since the Waqf Amendment Bill has received the President’s approval after the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, there has been a lot of resentment in the Muslim community. Now 15 Muslim leaders in Motihari have resigned from JDU after getting angry.

6. Mohammad Alam – City Secretary General, Dhaka

7. Mohammad Turfan-Block General Secretary Youth JDU Dhaka

8. Mohammad Matin – City Vice President Dhaka

9. Sufaid Anwar – Karamwa Panchayat Youth President

10. Mustafa Kamal (Afroz) – Youth Wing, Vice President

11. Firoz Siddiqui – Block Secretary, Youth JDU, Dhaka

12. Salauddin Ansari – City General Secretary, Dhaka

13. Salim Ansari – City Secretary General Dhaka

14. Ikramul Haq – City Secretary, Dhaka

 

15. Sagir Ahmed – City Secretary, Dhaka

JDU workers also resigned in Patna.

According to media reports, apart from these 15 leaders, some activists have also resigned from JDU. The displeasure of Muslim leaders and activists has been rejected as false rumors. Some senior JDU leaders held a press conference that no Muslim leader or worker is angry with the support of the Waqf Bill. Some people are spreading rumors. But now the sudden resignation of Muslim leaders from JDU confirms that they are unhappy with the party.
