Recently, during a conversation with India TV, Jaya Bachchan spoke openly on the popularity and influence of film stars in politics. He admitted that even a small actor can be more popular than a big politician, because the public follows the actors more.

“Yes, unless you are Shri Narendra Modi, actor, are more popular than politicians.”
Through this statement, he made it clear that except for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, film stars are usually more famous among the public than politicians.
