Team India stand in skipper Jasprit Bumrah gave a death stare to Australian opener Sam Konstas after dismissing Usman Khawaja on the final ball of the Day 1 of AUS vs IND 5th Test in Sydney. The incident happened just after both players had an argument as Bumrah was unimpressed with Khawaja taking time to get ready to face the delivery.
With the stand-in Indian captain getting ready to bowl the final two deliveries of the innings, the left-hander stopped Bumrah short at the top of his mark. With Konstas also getting involved in the tussle, the 31-year-old got even more fired up and managed to dismiss Khawaja by nicking him off to KL Rahul at slip. As a result, all 11 Indian players were fired up and surrounded the 19-year-old.

Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland play vital roles to clean up Team India for 185
Bumrah, the captain, had earlier elected to bat first after winning an important toss. However, the trio of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Scott Boland put India under pressure early. Starc and Boland nipped out the openers, while Nathan Lyon got the better of Shubman Gill on the final ball before lunch.
The highest partnership of their innings was the 48-run stand between Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant. Boland picked up four wickets, while Starc took three. Cummins finished with a couple, followed by Lyon snaring a solitary scalp.
