Jammu: Pakistan’s firing on Jammu border, BSF gives a befitting reply, three Pakistani airbase destroyed

News India Live, Digital Desk: Jammu: At around 9:00 pm on Friday, 9 May, Pakistan started firing on the Jammu border without any provocation. The Border Security Force (BSF) gave a befitting reply to the firing, causing heavy damage to Pakistan. BSF Jammu said on the social media platform ‘X’, “From about 2100 pm on 09 May 2025, Pakistan started firing unprovoked at BSF posts in Jammu sector. BSF gave a strict reply, causing widespread damage to Pakistan’s border posts and properties. Our resolve to protect India’s sovereignty.”

Apart from this, a total of 26 missiles and drone attacks have been carried out by Pakistan on Friday night, which was completely thwarted by the Indian air defense system and killed in the sky. In retaliation, India has caused heavy damage to target three Pakistan’s airbase – Nur Khan, Murid and Shorkot. The Indian Army has said that drones have been seen at 26 places near the border of Pakistan from Baramulla in the north to Bhuj, which the Indian Army is constantly monitoring.

The Indian armed forces are on high level alert and all aerial threats are being neutralized through the counter-drain system.
