Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother, Kim, was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai on Monday after her health significantly deteriorated, and the actress cancelled all her work commitments and reached by her side. And as her mother continues to be critical, Jacqueline has now decided to cancel her much-awaited performance in Guwahati ahead of the Indian Premiere League match on March 26 (Wednesday).
Jacqueline was supposed to set the stage on fire with her performance on March 26 prior to the IPL clash between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the ACA stadium in Barsapara, Guwahati. However, the actress seems to have pulled out of it in the last minute.
According to a source close to the actress, Jacqueline’s mother continues to undergo treatment in the ICU and is on her path to recovery. But the Kick actress has decided to stay tight by her mother’s side in these testing times, and thus give the IPL performance a miss.
Jacqueline’s mother Kim was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai, on Monday following a medical emergency. Hours after the actress flew down to Mumbai and reached the hospital, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was seen paying her mother a visit and enquiring about her health.
Back in 2022 too, Jacqueline’s mother had faced a health setback when she had suffered a stroke and was hospitalised in Bahrain.
Jacqueline once spoke about her mother in an old interview, and she had said, “My mom always supported me. I miss her a lot. I live here alone without my parents. There are these two people who have been so strong and they have been such an inspiration for me which always keeps me going.”
On the work front, Jacqueline was last seen in the film, Fateh, co-starring Sonu Sood.
