Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): A woman living in Bhind was allegedly caught secretly selling blue bull or Nilgai meat from her house.

According to information, the woman lives in Bhind’s Saroj Nagar area of Bhawani Pura. She was allegedly secretly selling banned Nilgai meat from her house.

When people living nearby found out about this, they immediately informed the Kotwali police station. Soon after, a team from the police and forest department reached the spot and arrested the woman.

During the search, the forest team found around 30 kg of Nilgai meat hidden inside the house.

Forest Ranger Basant Sharma said that the woman, named Kajal, was caught selling banned Nilgai meat. The team seized about 30 kg of meat from her room.

As the news of Nilgai meat being sold spread in the area, a crowd gathered outside her house. Members of a Hindu organisation also reached the spot and started protesting.

To control the situation, DSP Headquarters Deepak Tomar, TI City Kotwali Brajendra Singh Sengar, along with police force, reached the spot and calmed the crowd.

During questioning, Kajal told the forest team that she got the meat from some other people. The forest team is now trying to find the people who supplied her the Nilgai meat.
