Israel stopped 2 British MPs: Israel has now taken two British MPs into custody at the airport, taking action against Britain and allegedly deported them. They were not allowed to enter the country. There has been a strong response from Britain to the matter.

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said that it is unacceptable to detain two of our British MPs and prevent them from entering the country by Israel. UK’s ruling Labor Party MPs Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohammed left for Israel from London, but the Israeli officials caught him at the airport and sent him back.

In an official statement, Lammy said that Israeli’s action is a matter of unacceptable, condemnable and deep concern. I have told my counterpart in the Israeli government that such behavior will not be tolerated. Both MPs are currently in touch with us and are being provided all possible assistance to them. Lammy said that our government intends to carry forward the talks between Gaza and Israel to lead to the ceasefire, the release of the hostages and the violence in Gaza can be eliminated.
