Ahmedabad: The Gujarat ATS has arrested a detective to the security of the country from the Indo-Pakistan Kutch border. The arrested accused has been identified as Sahadev Singh Gohil and preliminary investigation has revealed that he is providing confidential information related to the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Indian Air Force to Pakistan. According to news agency ANI, Gohil was in touch with Pakistan’s intelligence agencies for a long time. After the arrest, he was brought to Ahmedabad for further questioning and is under intensive investigation.

Security agencies alert due to frequent espionage incidents

According to intelligence sources, the accused was constantly sending sensitive information from the border area to Pakistan. This is not the first time a person has been arrested by spying in this way from the Gujarat border. Earlier, one such detective was caught in Porbandar area. These frequent incidents have raised concerns among security agencies. In the last few months, 12 to 13 spies have been arrested across the country. It has been revealed that most of the arrested accused belong to Pakistan’s ISI and other intelligence agencies. Security agencies believe that this is a sign of Pakistan’s intelligence to be reactivated.
