SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Ishan Kishan was seen abusing himself while sitting in the dressing room after his epic brain fade in the IPL 2025 game against the Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. In a video surfaced on social media, the left-handed batter was seen cussing himself as he rued walking off despite not edging the ball.

The dismissal occurred in the second over of the innings as Deepak Chahar bowled a wide delivery down the leg side. Thinking that he had gloved it, Kishan started to walk off and the umpire also raised his finger. Visiting captain Hardik Pandya also patted him on his helmet as he was walking off.

However, replays indicated that the left-hander did not glove the ball, leaving the commentators stunned and made only 1 run.

Ishan Kishan’s woeful run in IPL 2025 continues:

Although the southpaw started the 18th edition of the tournament with a blistering century against the Rajasthan Royals, his performance has been on a free fall since that. Kishan’s scores since the knock of 106 against the Royals have been 0, 2, 2, 17, 9*, 2 and 1.

Earlier in the night, the toss fell in favour of Mumbai Indians’ skipper Hardik Pandya, who opted to bowl first.
