Bollywood actress Isha Deol has always been following her mother Hema Malini. He recently revealed in an interview that his mother taught him to be financially self -sufficient. Apart from this, Isha also shared the important advice given by Hema Malini during her divorce in 2024.

Mother Hema Malini always taught self -reliance

Isha Deol The Quint In the interview given to, he said,

“I think every mother teaches her daughters that they should make their own identity. My mother also taught me the same. She always told me that you have worked hard, earned a name and have a profession. Even though you have not got that much fame, but you must have a career. Never leave it. Do not try and work.”

“Whether marry a millionaire, but be financially independent”

Isha further explained that Hema Malini always advised her to be financially self -sufficient.

“Mamma also explained that even if you marry a millionaire, you should always be financially independent. When a woman is financially independent, her confidence is at a different level.”

According to Isha, Hema Malini always developed thinking that women should never be completely dependent on anyone, especially in economic matters.

“Life should not end romance”

Isha also told about another important learning of her mother in the interview.

“Mamma said that we do a lot in life – work, take care of ourselves, but forget romance. He said that romance should never end in life. Romance is the realization that causes butterfly flying in your stomach. This is the feeling that everyone wants to feel.”

Isha said that this advice of her mother is in her mind, although she has not yet implemented it.

Isha Deol and Bharat Takhtani divorce

Isha Deol married businessman Bharat Takhtani in 2012.
