Ingredients to make Fermented Amla
- 1 kg amla
- Turmeric
- Salt
- Water
Fermented Amla Recipe
- Wash and clean the gooseberries. – Then take some water in dhokalia. Place a lined vessel in it and steam only the Amla.
- – Then take it out in a pan and let it cool. -When the Amla cools down, add Kapa to it. Keep five to six kapa on one gooseberry.
- Then add four spoons of salt and three spoons of turmeric in it. Keep the amount of salt high so that its taste does not get dull. Mix salt and turmeric in Amla and keep it covered for 40 minutes.
- Then take a big glass jar and take Amla in it. Then take water mixed with turmeric and salt in a vessel and pour that water in the jar. Add enough water to submerge the amla.
- Shake the jar three times a day. This gooseberry can be eaten only after a day.
