Actress Rashmika Mandanna is currently gearing up for the release of her highly-anticipated film, Pushpa 2 alongside Allu Arjun in the lead, which is slated to release in theatres on December 5, 2024. Recently, the actress addressed the rumours of being the highest-paid actress in India after Pushpa 2.
At the closing ceremony of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024, in Goa on November 28, Rashmika said, “That I don’t agree with at all, because that is not true.”
Further, talking about IFFI, Mandanna said, “Film Festival, what is means to me is celebration. It’s where all of us celebrate our films. Films we shoot for over one, two, three or four years together and finally we get to celebrate the films and I’m grateful for it.”
Meanwhile, Rashmika, who hails from Karnataka, has reportedly been paid Rs 10 crore for her role as Srivalli in Pushpa 2. According to a report by Financial Express, she has a net worth of Rs 45 crore.
Pushpa: The Rule is the sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise.
Apart from Pushpa 2, Rashmika also has Sikandar with Salman Khan. It is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It is scheduled for an Eid 2025 release.
The film also stars Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi, among others.
She also has Chhava with Vicky Kaushal and Kubera with Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
