Mumbai: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is set to launch the much-awaited “Jain Yatra” under the Bharat Gaurav AC Tourist Train initiative. Departing from Mumbai’s Bandra Terminus on March 31, 2025, this exclusive eight-night, nine-day pilgrimage will take travelers on a spiritually enriching journey across key Jain religious sites.

According to an official, tour will cover significant pilgrimage destinations, including Pavapuri, Kundalpur, Guniyaji, Lacchuar, Rajgir, Parasnath, Rujuwalika, and Sammed Shikharji, before returning to Mumbai. Passengers can board or deboard at various stations, including Bandra Terminus, Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Bhestan (Surat), Bhusawal, Itarasi, Jabalpur, and Satna.

The state-of-the-art Bharat Gaurav AC Tourist Train will accommodate up to 750 passengers in fully air-conditioned 3AC coaches. Designed for comfort and convenience, the train features a modern onboard kitchen providing pure Jain meals, CCTV surveillance, and security guards for every coach, ensuring a safe and pleasant journey.
