IPL 2025: The ongoing war between India and Pakistan has created a tense atmosphere in the country. For this reason, the match to be played on 8 April yesterday was stopped and the tournament has also been postponed for some time. The BCCI has postponed the 18th season of IPL 2025 for a week due to the tense situation between India and Pakistan. The BCCI has said that the tournament program will be announced only after this stressful atmosphere monitoring the situation.
The BCCI has also said that the tickets already booked by cricket fans will be returned to the audience. Many questions are being raised in this regard. The first question in this regard is that if the IPL starts in a week, will foreign players stay in India or will they go to their country. Not only this, cricket fans are also curious to know how foreign players are reacting to the stressful atmosphere regarding the ongoing war between India and Pakistan.

Foreign players will now return to their country from IPL. Sources associated with the IPL say that there has been a lot of concern among foreign players due to military conflict. An official of the IPL team told PTI that the players are fine, but what is happening is worrying about it. Players of Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings are currently coming from Dharamshala to the national capital by road. Last year’s mega auction signed 62 foreign players by 10 franchises.
Meanwhile, there have also been reactions from foreign cricket boards. Cricket Australia said in Sydney that it is closely monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan. The New Zealand Cricketers Association has also expressed concern over the security situation arising out of the ongoing struggle between India and Pakistan. Apart from Australia and New Zealand, players from some other countries are also participating in the IPL.
