IPL 2025: 55 matches have been played so far in IPL 2025. The 56th match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans on 6 May today. Both teams will be face to face at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Before this match, GT fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has been given a special gift. The Board of Control for Cricket in India shared a special video on Monday.

What exactly is the video?

In the video, Rohit Sharma is seen giving a diamond ring to Mohammad Siraj. You must be wondering why Siraj was given such a precious gift? Actually, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team won the T20 World Cup last year. The BCCI has honored the 2024 T20 World Cup winning Indian team by giving them a diamond ring.

In February 2025, the board gifted diamond rings to the champion players during the Naman Awards. Siraj was not present in that program. In such a situation, Siraj has now been wearing the ring by Indian captain Rohit. While giving the ring, Rohit said that he missed Siraj a lot in this program. I am proud to give this special ring made for all of you.

Siraj looked quite happy after getting the ring. “Champion,” he said smiling. Under Rohit’s captaincy, the Indian team won the T20 World Cup and finished the 11 -year ICC Trophy drought. Rohit’s brigade won the title by defeating South Africa by 7 runs in the exciting final. After scoring 176/7 runs at the Barbados ground, India stopped South Africa at 169/8.
