Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) head coach Justin Langer has given important information about the team’s young fast bowler Mayank Yadav. He told that Mayank’s recovery is going well and he can soon join the team. Mayank is currently bowling 90 to 95 percent in BCCI’s Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. If everything goes well, he may soon be seen playing in IPL 2025.
Coach’s trust in Mayank’s fitness
At the press conference after the match, Justin Langer said, “Mayank Yadav is almost completely fit and it is a great news for both Indian cricket and IPL. I have seen some videos of his bowling in the National Cricket Academy. He is bowling with 90 to 95 percent capacity.
Although Langer did not give any definite date for his return, but indicated that Mayank may soon be seen on the field.
Mayank is recovering from injury
Mayank Yadav has not been able to play a single match so far this season. He was suffering from back and leg injury. Justin Langer said that Mayank is very keen to play. He appreciated the NCA and said that the organization has returned the team by fitting players like Avesh Khan and Akash Deep and it is expected that Mayank will also fit and join the team.
Mayank’s speed had rocked
21 -year -old Mayank Yadav surprised everyone with his fast bowling last season. He bowled at a speed of more than 150 kilometers per hour and also shown the ability to take wickets. His return can strengthen the bowling of Lucknow Super Giants, especially when the bowling department of the team is seen weak due to injuries in this season.
Mohsin Khan, Mayank Yadav, Avesh Khan and Akash Deep were struggling with injuries, although many of these players have now returned. Shardul Thakur is also in the team and has done effectively with seven wickets in four matches. He put the decisive 19th over in the match played against Mumbai.
The ability to become the fastest bowler
The record of throwing the fastest ball in the world is named after former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar. He bowled at a speed of 161.3 kmph against England in the 2003 World Cup. So far no bowler has been able to break this record.
However, experts believe that India’s young fast bowler Mayank Yadav has the ability to challenge this record. Since childhood, Mayank has been attached to high -speed jets, rockets and superbikes. Taking inspiration from this, he gave priority to the pace in his bowling and today he is considered one of the fastest bowlers in India.
