The closing ceremony will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad before the final match. The BCCI has made a big announcement in this regard, where ‘Operation Sindoor’ will be celebrated and the armed forces will be paid tribute. This decision of the BCCI has filled the heart of every fan with joy. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia confirmed that the closing ceremony would be completely dedicated to the armed forces. Heads of Army, Navy, Air Force and Defense Services have been invited to attend the conference to be held on June 3.

Uthappa’s prediction: The name of which team of IPL 2025 trophy?

Talking to Sportstar, Devjit Saikia said, “BCCI salutes the valor, courage and selfless service of our armed forces, whose heroic efforts made under operation sindoor are protecting and inspiring the nation. As a tribute, as a tribute, we have decided to dedicate the closing ceremony to the armed forces.

Tributes are being paid to the armed forces at many places since the IPL started after ‘Operation Sindoor’. At the Wankhede Stadium, fans shouted slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and a big message was shown thanks to the armed forces on a big screen. In addition, the players also sang the national anthem before the match.

This is not the first time that IPL has saluted the armed forces. In early 2019, after the Pulwama attack, the BCCI included a military band at the inauguration ceremony and announced a donation of Rs 20 crore for the armed forces. More than one lakh fans are expected to arrive in the final match, so the closing ceremony of IPL 2025 will definitely be an emotional moment.
