Sanju samson, ipl 2025: Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson will not be able to play in the first three matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Rajasthan will start its IPL 2025 campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on 23 March. In the absence of Sanju, star batsman Ryan Parag has been given the batting order.

Star batsman takes charge after Samson’s injury

Rajasthan Royals captain and wicketkeeper batsman Sanju suffered a finger injury during the T20 match against England. He underwent surgery before the Champions Trophy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet given him a clean chit for wicketkeeping. In Samson’s absence, Ryan Parag will captain the first IPL champion team. Now he will become the youngest cricketer to captain a franchise in the history of IPL.

His understanding about the team is fantastic.

Regarding the decision to hand over the captaincy to Ryan Parag, Rajasthan Royals said, “The decision to hand over the captaincy of Rajasthan to Ryan reflects confidence in his leadership of the franchise, he has demonstrated his skills during his tenure as the local captain of Assam.” His understanding of the team is fantastic due to being an important member of the Royals team for years.

Dhruv Jurael can be made the team’s wicketkeeper

Samson will not be able to play in the opening matches, so Dhruv Jurlel can be made the team’s wicketkeeper. Jurael was retained by the franchise for Rs 14 crore. There is no other wicketkeeper-batsman in the team.

Rajasthan Royals will clash with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), captained by Pat Cummins at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on 23 March.
