The internet has once again unearthed a doppelgänger, and this time it is a younger version of Mahakumbh’s viral Rudraksha seller, Monalisa Bhonsle. A video that has now taken social media by storm captures an uncanny resemblance between the original Mahakumbh fame and a young girl in Ujjain.

The video, shared by a content creator named Manoj Vaishnav, opened with three young girls standing near a temple in Ujjain, holding small bowls filled with turmeric and kumkum (Haldi Kumkum). They appear to be applying tilak to devotees visiting the temple, while the exact temple location remains unknown.

The reel creator asks the names of the girls. One of them introduces herself as Kajal before the camera shifts to the younger Monalisa lookalike. What happens next?

More details

The video captures the young girl who bears a striking resemblance to the now-famous Monalisa from Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. Her large, expressive eyes, impressive facial features, a nose ring, and a round bindi on her forehead remind the cameraperson and fellow netizens of the Rudraksha seller who charmed many at the grand religious gathering. The resemblance is so strong that the content creator calls her “Younger Monalisa.”

“Ye hai choti wali Monalisa,” the man says, making the connection between the Rudraksha seller and this tilak girl.

At first, the girl flashes a shy smile, but within moments, her demeanor shifts dramatically. The girl refuses to encourage the cameraperson in filming them. In an unexpected outburst, she furiously warns the man, saying, “Tera mobile phod daalungi(I’ll break your phone)”.

Internet reacts

The video has since gone viral, with people agreeing with the Instagrammer. “Are ye to sach me uski jesi dikh rahi hai (She really does look like her)”, netizens commented.

Being posted online on March 11, the clip has amassed over two lakh likes.
