Ujjain: Intensive Checking Begins To Strictly Enforce Liquor Ban, Dhaba Owners Warned Of Strict Action | FPJ

Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Ujjain Police is conducting intensive checking campaign to strictly enforce liquor ban, special teams are keeping strict vigil on all major routes including Indore-Ujjain, Dewas-Ujjain, Badnagar-Ujjain, Maksi-Ujjain, Agar-Ujjain and Unhel Road.

Every two-wheeler and four-wheeler is being thoroughly checked so that no person can enter Ujjain city with liquor. Strict legal action will be taken against any person bringing liquor illegally. In all police station areas of the district, persons having record of selling liquor earlier were called to the police station and were instructed to completely stop selling liquor after liquor ban is implemented in Ujjain.

Bound over action was taken against all dhaba owners and sellers. The meeting was organised to control illegal activities in the area, especially liquor sale.

All Dhabas and sellers were strictly warned against illegal liquor sale. It was made clear to all shopkeepers that they will not be involved in illegal liquor sale in any way, the activities of selling liquor will be monitored strictly and strict action will be taken if any violation is found in this regard.

During the meeting, bound over action was taken against old liquor sellers. Further, strict monitoring will be done on these persons and legal action will be taken against them, so that they do not get involved in illegal liquor sale in future. Regular inspections will be conducted by regional police to maintain security and law and order in all police station areas.

Through this meeting, it was ensured that strict action will be taken against illegal liquor sale and other criminal activities. These activities will be constantly monitored by the police administration and quick and strict legal action will be taken against those involved in any kind of illegal activity.
