Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said mere running of schemes under the Women Child Development Department will hardly serve any purpose, but if children are given milk daily, they will never suffer from malnutrition. Yadav made the statement at Rudraksh Mahotsav in Kubereshwar Dham on Monday when he took part in the concluding part of the event.

A religious preacher Pradeep Mishra organised Shiv Mahapuran Katha at Kubereshwar Dham. After taking blessings from Mishra, Yadav addressed the audience from the stage. People talk about malnutrition, but running schemes under WCD will hardly be helpful to improve the health of children, but if they are given cow milk daily, they will automatically get nourishment, Yadav said.

These days, people eat food outside, but once the river of milk and curd used to flow in the country, he said. Instead of opening liquor outlets, people should set up shops of curd and milk, he said. The government will build Gopal Ksirhna temples at those places where Lord Krishna performed his Leelas (divine deeds), he said.

Ram Path has been constructed, and now, Krishna Path will be built, he said. He further said Narmada river water would be drawn to Shipra to keep it filled with water throughout the year. He further said Mahakumbh was successfully organised and Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself took a holy dip in the Sangam. Modi taking a holy bath in the Sangam means the entire country did that, he said, adding that a golden pitcher is being installed in Somnath temple, which is a matter of pride for every Indian.
