Materials required to make curd upma

1 cup swollen
1 cup curd
2 onions (finely chopped)
1-2 green chillies (finely chopped)
1 small piece ginger (grated)
Curry Leaf-6-7 leaves
2 teaspoons gram and urad dal
2 teaspoon peanut grains
1-2 dry red chili
1 teaspoon mustard (mustard seeds)
Taste salt
Finely chopped coriander
1-1.5 cup water
2 teaspoon oil

Method of making curd upma

Prepare yogurt mixture

  • Take curd in a bowl, add finely chopped green chillies, ginger and green coriander.
  • Add salt as per taste and mix 1 to 1.5 cups of water and mix.

Tadka and roast

  • Heat oil in a pan and chop mustard seeds in it.
  • Now add dry red chili, curry leaves and fry.
  • Add gram and urad dal and fry till it becomes light golden.
  • Add finely chopped onion and fry well.

Add a mixture of semolina and curd

  • When the onion becomes golden, add semolina to it and fry till it becomes light golden.
  • Now add prepared mixture of curd and mix well and let it cook on low flame.
  • Cook the gas while keeping a light wet texture.

Serving

  • Serve the prepared curd upma hot.
  • Add roasted peanuts and finely chopped onions from above so that the crunchy remains in it.
