From businessmen to netizens, many people criticised Subrahmanyan and rolled out memes and jokes about his “stare at your wife” remark. A recent video uploaded by a content creator named Johny took a hilarious dig at the controversial point.
In the video, Johny staged a job interview. The company he was applying for was not L&T, but “Lemon Tea Private Limited”. Of course, the name of this company was funnily kept by him ensuring it read similar to Subrahmanyan’s workplace.

Job interview question: “Will you stare at your wife?”
He shared details from his laptop screen and suggested about being asked a very tricky question during his job interview at not L&T but his so-called firm named Lemon Tea.
The interview question which left him puzzled revolved around the chairman’s recent statement. “Will you stare at your wife?”, the form asked the candidate.
We won’t spill the beans out here unless you really want to know how he faced that one question.
Here’s how he reacted to the question
Johny’s expressions conveyed that the question wasn’t an easy one, especially because the company was “L…T…”. So, obviously, he tried to skip and avoid the question. Instead of selecting “married”, he clicked on “no”, suggesting he wasn’t married and had no wife. But the question didn’t go off.
Despite him trying to get rid of the question by stating that he wasn’t married. The form popped up with a question asking whether he would stare at his wife after getting married.
Video goes viral; netizens react
This hilarious video was uploaded by Johny on January 13 and it has already gone viral on Instagram. It has, so far, attracted more than five lakh views on the social media platform and thousands of likes. The comments section was flooded with laughter emojis.

How long can you stare at your wife? How long can she stare at you?”.
