Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Inner Wheel Club Indore Central successfully hosted the esteemed visit of district chairman Meenakshi Sharma. She was warmly welcomed and honoured with a ceremonial collar by club president Sunita Nagar.

The event featured a captivating dance performance by Kopal Joshi, which received high praise. Nagar presented the club’s impactful project work, while secretary Hemlata, ISO Shashi, treasurer Usha Nyati and editor Shashi Prabha highlighted their contributions through a projector presentation. Chairman Sharma lauded the club’s initiatives and well-organised event.

DAVV research scholar conferred with Young Scientist award

Romika Jain, a research scholar from the school of chemical sciences, Devi Ahilya University, has been honoured with the prestigious Young Scientist Award.

The award was presented at the National Scientific Convention and MP Young Scientist Congress, held by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology in Bhopal from March 27-29. Romika’s research focuses on the green synthesis of compounds for diabetes treatment using magnetic nano-catalysts, under the guidance of Dr Pratibha Sharma.

Aavantika Gas donates garbage vehicles

Aavantika Gas Ltd., under its CSR initiative, donated three new CNG-powered garbage collection vehicles to Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC).

The event was attended by marketing head Manish Verma, senior officer Sumit Singh, Maulik Barad, Antasih Joshi and Mayank Gaur. So far, nine vehicles worth Rs 82.71 lakh have been provided. Verma urged citizens to use CNG vehicles for better air quality. Officials Deepak Singh, Aashish Singh and Shivam Verma praised Avantika Gas for its continuous support in improving Indore’s environment and public services.
